To apply for a CSCS Red Provisional Card, first pass the CITB Health, Safety & Environment Test within the last 2 years. Then apply through the CSCS application system. The card is valid for 6 months, cannot be renewed, and is only available to people who have never held a CSCS card before. No formal qualification is required.
