I am currently seeking writers fluent in English, Russian and (hopefully!) Ukrainian for a project writing short articles about the city of Odessa for a new website.
If you are interested, send three (3) sample articles (300-700 words) in English which will be evaluations of your skill. If they are of high enough quality, we will contact you to discuss terms of employment.
Suggested Topics:
•Historical figures
•Historical buildings
•Things to do
•Unusual Landmarks (including historical restaurants that still operate) -- the less obvious the better
Forbidden topics: Deribasovskaya Street, Opera theater, Potemkin Steps
Important notes:
Use your best writing and grammar skills. Make sure you proofread your work and at a minimum run it through a grammar and spell checker (such as the one included in Microsoft Word). There will be financial penalties if my MS Word Grammar Checker finds errors in your document.
You can use any source you want as a reference, including Wikipedia or commercial sites.
Do NOT plagiarize (COPY text directly from other sources)!!! You MUST use your own words. I will be checking for this.
