Carpe diem
People, since you are not going to Uman this weekend (as far as I know) I propose this is our weekend event: https://forumodua.com/showthread.php?t=1584042
I think it is awesome!
People, tomorrow we are discussing technologies. Anything invented that helps us and makes our lives easier. For example, some people nowadays can not imagine their life without coffee machine, others - without cell phone, etc. Maybe some of you can share ideas about something that still needs to be invented!
The time of our meeting is back 6:30 p.m. See you there!
Thus I won't be able to participate, please get my humble contribution.
Here is our selection of technologies of the past 10 years that have made the biggest advances and changed our life. Feel free to jump in and add your favorites.
I'll not be at meeting tonight, but I'm planning to join excursion to the LightHouse tomorrow. Is anybody going to join?
Thank you to all who participated tonight)))
Murphy, you made it even better!!!
People, who is going to the lighthouse tomorrow?

I think different. What's the point to place such a memorial in Odessa if i devices are not even sold here officially (only officially imported*). In AppStore Ukraine appeared only some months ago.
I do believe that there are a lot of significant people, whose contribution is higher, e.g. like Tesla.
well...on the one hand I agree with Phen but on the other...
I just love different unusual sculptures and I like this one. Just like I was interested in "Peeing Statues", "Statue of Sigmund Freud hanging by one hand" created by David Cherny" in Prague.
It's just fun for me)) even without thinking of the deep sence and meaning...
For me it's not less meaningful than "Love padlocks" on Тёщин мост...

I bet it was a students' initiative...
It's a fad in our city to open new monuments. They do it so often that it's hard to keep track of all of them. As to this particular monument... I don't think it's such a bad idea. It might inspire some young people to be creative and invent new things.
