2) We are looking for Broadcast Manager to join 28258 G.T. Passenger vessel for 2 or 3 months contract

Required experience on board Cruise/Passenger vessel as such
Job responsibilities:
Job Responsibility for Broadcast Manager
TVRO satellite antenna tracking & tuning (Main & Spare SeaTel TAC-97/92) to appropriate satellite and eliminate trouble shooting for permanent signal receiving as per requirements of the Hotel department.
Ability to change reception from one satellite to other during the world cruises, keeping in mind that a German broadcasting channel is the first preference.
Responsibility for CATV systems & network connectivity through the TV-Server to all the cabins from the Broadcast center (TEL_TV_40 computer program system)
Repairs of the TV-DVD players in all passenger cabins through the TV-Server software from the Broadcast center remotely & locally up to possible level. Fresh assignment of Pax-TV to a room number through the server.
Responsibility for movies schedule using computer hard-disk & dvd etc.
Responsibility for ITV system and updating its contents with ability to ‘Check-in’ & ‘Check-out’ passengers each cruise.
Daily functionality checking & troubleshooting the “iisii Cruise” management system for pax e-mail charges & phone calls
Daily functionality & updating of the “Cruise show” from the Bridge destined for the Phoenix website & the TV-cruise show channel.
Safe functionality of the 4 nos. Media servers for the Pax internet, Pay video, video-on-demand & free movies continuously (non-attention may cause stoppage of these).
Attending the AVO’s for TV, Phones, DVDs etc throughout the day
Complete functionality of the AUTO TELEPHONE EXCHANGE ( AVAYA DEFINITY PABX) analog & digital system of Telephone & data operations. Checking , repair & installing new line connections on a day to day requirements basis. Ability to write the various commands.
Daily sending of the various emails for the V Ships standard messages connected to navigation (departure, noon, arrival, consumption etc)
Support Duties

Radars – preliminary maintenance
Pager maintenance
Walkie Talkie maintenance
Security & E/R Camera maintenance
Ship’s clocks - repairs
Gyro, Auto Pilot – preliminary maintenance
PCB repairs – various, as requested by Chief Electrician
