We are looking for an organized and creative Data Analyst/Risk Assessor with exceptional analytical skills to join our team and help take our company to the next level. Job responsibilities
Using your specialist knowledge, you will:
support company developers through the delivery of methods and standards for the quantified assessment of maritime risks associated with transshipment of hydrocarbons.
provide advice on the risks arising from tanker fleet operations and management to a range of stakeholders, oil companies, agents and brokers.
provide expert advice on the prediction of major hazard risks in assessing Safety Reports and verifying compliance with applicable policies and regulations.
represent company at inquiries and at technical communication.
make technical and strategic contributions to company's interests in maritime risk assessment
continually seek out opportunities for improvement
actively promote cross-team collaboration
On the day to day basis, you will be responsible for managing and ensuring our company targets are consistently achieved and customer service levels are met.
Training and development
From day one, you will be supported by your manager and colleagues to understand your role in company. In addition to supporting your continuing professional development, you will complete the Training Program to acquire skills necessary for performing required tasks.
Education and Attributes required:
A University Degree or Diploma; or a combination of experience, education and training equivalent to a degree or diploma.
Experience in Marine coordination, including working with computer based maritime information systems.
Excellent English communication skills; both oral and written
Good knowledge of applicable marine terminology.

Strong reporting and analytical skills to identify underlying gaps and deficiencies related to risk management
Strong computer skills;
initiative, and decisiveness, making sound decisions based on available evidence

the ability to write effective technical reports and to present complex technical information in a clear and concise way for a non-technical audience

professional and creative writing skills are an asset.
some knowledge and experience of relevant research or joint industry projects
some knowledge of the marine safety report regime
an interest in developing small, bespoke computer-based models would be beneficial
